The crime rate nowadays is lower than in the past because of the increased use of of advanced technology which can prevent and solve crimes.Do you agree or disagree?

People commit crimes,when they are unable to fulfill their basic needs of life.In the past,many attempts had been made to control crime rate.Due to advancement in technology, many crimes have been resolved and prevented.I agree to this notion.
