Rapid expansion in progress of supermarkets in some countries many small local shops cannot survive. I am totally agree with this statement because supermarkets are providing this same item at very low price as compared to local shops. In supermarkets people would have very wide range of every itemĀ  many international as well as local. It also provide very good environment as compared to local shops, although it attracts people to shopping from the supermarkets. It have very bad impact on local businesses and local communities. Hence, they loose chances for progress of their local business.
