Dear John,
I have noticed a lot of visitors complaining about the reception area of our company. Majority of people complained that they had to wait for a long time before their queries were answered. Moreover, they were also not happy about the fact that there was no place to sit while they waited. Although the visitors were happy about the lighting setup at the reception area, they complained regarding the air conditioner as it was not working.
Reception areas are vital for every company as visitors begin their visit to a company from there. First impressions are always important as everyone makes up his/her mind regarding everything on the basis of first impression. Receptions are considered to be an introduction to any company, and if people are not pleased with the company’s reception, they will not be interested in any other thing that is related to the company.
To put it in simple words, you must take notice of all these complaints, and amend the reception area faults accordingly. Firstly, you need to set up a seating area for the visitors, so that they feel comfortable while visiting the company. Secondly, install new air conditioners, and keep a proper check on them, clean them time to time so they work properly. Most importantly, hire multiple receptionists, so that people do not have to wait long, for their queries to be answered.
