Well! When it comes to sports, I like football the most. My favorite football team is England’s. They are always enthusiastic when they come in the ground. I love their passion and their co-ordination. Football is globally famous as a sport. Everyone has a different reason to like a team, and all of these reasons are equally valid. Whether it is the team co-ordination, team management, players’ fitness, their enthusiasm or their expertise in the particular sport. But in England’s football team I have seen all those qualities a team should has. They are enthusiastic, best team management and their expertise in the football playing. All these reasons put together for me to like that team.

Water is imperative for us in this world. It is an essential element of life for human beings, animals, plants and all other living beings. If there would be no water, there would be no life. Our bodies need water for each and every cell, never, and organ to work properly. Survival of living beings is not the only function of water. Water is required for manifold reasons such as to keep the houses clean, to wash clothes, to wash utensils, to keep our bodies clean, to cook food and for some recreational activities such as swimming
and waterfall decorations at our homes and so on and so forth. According to recent news, we could be running out of water in the near future. The wastage of water should be monitored carefully and the awareness campaigns should be run in order to avoid water shortage.

I have never been to cinema before as it used to be considered an inappropriate place for families. But, the cinema concept has been changed during the last few years. My friends usually go to Cinema on weekends but I never joined them. Last weekend, they finally convinced me to accompany them. We went to Cinepix which is located in Fortess Stadium Square mall. Luckily, we got the seats in the second row, so the view was clear. It was a huge hall which was easily accommodating almost 500 people at a time. I loved the sitting arrangement there. We bought popcorn before going into the hall. The sound quality was remarkable. The comments and whistles from audience added to the flavor of popcorn. I really enjoyed my first visit to cinema.

I was a good painter in my childhood. I used to paint trees, natural scenes, animals, forest scenes and portraits. But I grew up I lost interest in painting. Moreover, I did not find any time during my studies to paint. Recently, one of my friends asked me to join him to an art gallery. It was Sunday, we went there around 1:00 pm . The walls of the hall was fully decorated with different sort of the paintings. Some of the paintings exhibited were realistic while others were impressionistic. There were many abstract paintings too and the artists were there to help the visitors to make them understand those paintings. There was a series of portraits. The portrait of Quaid-e-Azam was really marvelous. It seemed as if one were standing in front of him in real. Some of the paintings were related to modern art, they were really difficult to understand. Everybody interpreted those paintings on the basis of their own perceptions. I felt refreshed and it reminded me of my childhood memories. It was a wonderful weekend, indeed.

Well! I am not an art loving person. Last Sunday, my friend who is a fine arts student, asked me to accompany her to EXPO Center. There was an iron railing in front of the walls. The visitors could see the paintings from distance. Some of the paintings exhibited were realistic while others were impressionistic. There were many abstract paintings too and the artists were there to help the visitors to make them understand those paintings. There was a series of portraits. It was my first visit to an art gallery. It has planted an interest of art in me. This was indeed a memorable day.

Well! if I talk about an actor, it would be injustice to quote one name. There are many actors who are just fabulous. But I think my choice is a bit different in this regard. I do not like any of the actors from today. My favorite Drama serial actors are Faisal Qureshi, Faisal Rehman, Noman Ijaz, Humayun Saeed, Mahnor Bloach and Saba Qamar. They seem real actors to me. I really admire Faisal Qureshi for his acting in Meri Zaat zarra e Bay Nishan and Basahr Momin, Noman Ijaz for many of the drama serials as well as Virsa movie, Saba Qamar for her acting in a recent drama Baghi. These people give a real flavor of acting. The maturity and experience is a key to their performance. I really adore them all.

Internet gives access to multiple websites. These websites are of different categories. Each website contains information regarding a particular domain. People keep searching these websites on and off on the basis of their needs and requirements. My favorite and most frequently visited website is Youtube. Reason for liking this website is that it is an entertaining website. It gives access to all songs, movies and dramas. I do not like watching dramas on television. I like to watch drama in one sitting. I do not like to wait for the whole week for the next episode. I watch dramas on Youtube. That is why I like this website.

Everybody has a particular taste in reading. Some people like novels, some like magazines, some like biographies, some like literature and some like fantasy stories.Recently, I went to a book store to buy a novel Al-Chemist. I always bought books from that store. If they didn’t had the book on my first visit, they used to arrange the book for me. But, this time, I wasn’t in the mood to wait to get that novel. They said the novel wasn’t available. I went to another store to see if I can find it from there. The name of the store was Pick & Pay. To my luck, they had the novel. It was a library kind of book store. All the books were arranged according to their category. It was so easy to search any book there. Moreover, they have placed some tags with specific numbers on the books. You just need to enter the book title or author name in the computer and then you can locate the book with the blink of an eye. I was really impressed with the technology being used by the book store owner. I would recommend to my friends if they need a book and could not find it, do visit that book store once.

It was my biggest dream since my childhood to have my own car. I saved my pocket money for years to buy a car. I always had this thing in my mind that it would require a patience of decades. But I just continued it. Finally, I finished my degree and got a job. I never spent my salary on clothes, shoes, jewelry or such sort of stuff. Rather, I always saved the money for car. The recent favorite car of mine was WAGON R. Finally, I was able to buy my first car at my own after decades. This car is just like a child to me now. I am so much caring and possessive about my car. I use it with so much care.

I do not go out of city often, so I do not get a chance to stay in the hotel. But recently, I got a chance to stay in the hotel with my family. The overall environment of the hotel was good. It has a spacious building and wide rooms with air conditions. The cleanliness was remarkable. There was LCD in the room to see a movie, news or whatever you like. They had a variety of foods such as continental, Spanish, Chinese and Pakistani food. We ordered some Chinese food. The quality of food was good and it was fresh. Then we ordered tea in the evening along with some snacks. It was also of good quality. I really like the room service. I would prefer to stay in that hotel if I would ever be in need of.

In spite of many parks in Lahore, I love Model Town Park. I go there everyday in the evening. It is a quite and soothing place for me. I usually go there alone. After taking 1,2 rounds around the joking track, I go to my favorite bench. The bench is placed under a tree near the lake. There are ducks in the park. These ducks usually seen swimming in the lake. I love to see them when they dive into water. The greenery and grass gives a soothing effect to eyes and feet. The fresh air removes the tiredness and gives a refreshing effect. You can see so many people around you but even then you do not feel any disturbance as everybody is busy in his/her own activities. Moreover, there are patrolling officers who give the sense of security. I really like to go and sit there everyday for 2-3 hours.

There are numerous restaurants in Lahore. I have been to many restaurants. Each restaurant has its own strengths and weaknesses. The restaurant which is find very much comfortable and peaceful is Haveli Restaurant. This is located near Main Liberty market Lahore. First time I visited the restaurant with my family. Second time, I visited it yesterday. It was my brother’s Birthday. So, I invited my family members there. I asked the manager to arrange a cake, bouquet and a Happy Birthday song. I was already there with my friend when my family arrived there. The staff is very friendly and cooperative. They served us with a quality and fresh food. After food, they played the Birthday song and presented the bouquet to my brother and then we cut the cake. It was already my favorite restaurant but since yesterday, I am just loving it.

Trendy and branded clothes are so common these days. There is a new and latest brand everyday. Some brands are famous for being economical, some are famous for styles, some are famous for the collection of accessories. I have tried many brands for clothes such as Stylo, Bareera, Lime Light, Generations, Break out and many more. Out of these all my favorite brand is Lime Light. There are many reasons to like this brand. First of all, this is economical. Secondly, it has unique and different designs with amazing cuts. Thirdly, it provides many accessories under one roof such as jewelry, hand bags, wallets, scarfs and kids stuff. I really like their jewelry collection. I still remember that after visiting all the brands I got my first pocket watch from Lime Light so this is my favorite brand. I do recommend my relatives and friends to visit and shop from this brand.

I am not fond of watching movies. It seems boring to me that we sit in front of television or lap top for consecutive three hours to complete a movie. I can count on fingers the movies I have watched. A couple of months ago, one of my cousins recommended me a movie by saying that I must watch that movie. The name of the movie was PERFECT SENSE. It was an English movie. Although, I didn’t like the actors much but the story and theme of the movie was really impressing. The story of the movie revolves around an infection which came from no where. It was spreading globally. The infected people started losing their senses, first of them was taste, secondly hearing, thirdly smell, fourthly touch and at last vision. Dermatologists were not being able to find any cure against this rapidly increasing infection. People became severely aggressive, agitated, frustrated, and what not. This was the height of helplessness I have ever felt. If anyone would ask me the definition of helplessness, I would recommend this movie to make the person understand what is in fact state of helplessness.

I have seen many ads on television since my childhood. Every company try to depict their product in a fascinating way. This ad is of a detergent Surf Excel. In this ad they have shown that a kid goes to market to buy some samosas for Iftari. He bought the same for his uncle and aunt too. They were living separately due to some family conflicts. He put those samosas in his pockets which brought about some stains on his shirt. When he goes to their home to say Ramzan Mubarik, they felt so happy and they went with him to settle down the conflicts. Both of the brothers embraced each other and father hugged the kid because of his exceptional and wise action. Then the whole family seated together. This sight really inspired me that sometimes children can accomplish most difficult tasks at times.

Lahore city is a hub of historical places. It has Badshahi mosque, Minar-e-Pakistan, Shahi Killa, Museums, Maqbara-e-Jahangeer so on and so forth. I love to visit these historical places whenever I find some time. I like to visit Badshahi Mosque the most. I visit it once a month. It is my favorite from all the historical places because of its Museum. Its museum has the most unique treasure for all the Muslims. This museum gives an enriched flavor of Islam and I feel my Imaan gets boosted and refreshed whenever I visit it. It also has a collection of Quran Paks which have been differently written and in different sizes. Its a peaceful place. I forget all my worries, stress and exhaustion of routine when I go there. I spend 3-4 hours there. I go there and sit in a quite corner. This visit gives me a feeling of eternal peace inside me that I do not get from anywhere else.

There are many newspapers which have been used these days. I used to read Dawn newspaper. That was a good newspaper. But then, one of my friends recommended me to read Times. I found it the best so now my favorite newspaper is Times. It is an international newspaper. The reason to like this newspaper is it helps me to be updated with the happenings around the world. It has enhanced my lexical resource. It covers approximately all the domains of News such as Sports, Fashion, Admission in colleges and well known universities, Job vacancies and much more. I really love to get updates and to read news regarding fashion. It is really an amazing newspaper. I do recommend this newspaper to all my friends.

we are lucky as Pakistani that we have all four types of weather here. winter is my favorite because there is feeling of calm and serenity. also there are more dry fruits in the market .i enjoy having them in the night alongwith coffee .Pakistan is rich in oranges production in winter and thats my favorite fruit. one thing more i love in the winter is cool breeze thats awsome. every year in the month of december there is snowfall in hilly areas and people usually visit these hill station to enjoy snowfall.

as my town is famous for its parks.but my favourite park is national park situated in the centre of city near kalma chowk. it has beautiful garden with variety of trees .along with that it has mesmerising lake with boating facility. moreover it has a resturant beside lake which has almost all types of food like thai ,chinese and pakistani. last sunday, i went with my friends .we enjoyed alot there as there were also plethora of rides both for adults and children. after boating, we had a very delicious dinner at the resturant. i will recommend every one to visit this park.

as there are many book stores in my town but my favourite one is Readings.it is situated on main boulevard gulberg.its spacious store with overwhelming outlook.it has a huge variety of books. almost all types of books relating to every field is available here.the store is divided into two sections for children and adults separately. furthermore, they placed a chair at the end of every rack so that one can sit and go through the book comfortably.they have a little library as well inside this store for readers. also one can have a cup of tea or coffe there while reading.

there are many well known companies who are making cars like toyota, honda, hyndai ,suzuki, bmw, mercedes and audi. my favourite one is audi A6.its a sedan with five passenger capacity .its interior cabin is quite spacious with beige colored poshish. dash board is awsome as it looks like you are sitting in some cock pit of plane with so many functions.there is LED in centre of it with GPS system and also some buttons on steering wheel for volume and phone control. moreover it has powerful engine with 3ooo horse power and automatic transmission.

i have tried plethora of cuisines.but my favourite is chicken manchurian from chinese cuisine.it is not very spicy rather give some sweet taste in it.the way this is presented on table was temptating.last week i went to best chinese resturant in town and ordered manchurian.i went with my friends and they liked it very much .

Although i have many shirts which include T shirts ,casual and formal shirts as well.but my favourite one is black casual shirt.i got it from dockers last month in 3 thousand rupees after discount of 50%. its stuff is bland and fitting is awsome. moreover quality of collar is very good.and it has white color buttons in contrast to black background.in addition to its quality of fabric, i am pretty much happy to have it as i have many trousers with which it will suits alot.

i am not a voracious reader. but i read few novels from which my favourite one is ‘The Struggle’. the story of this novel describes the hardwork and hurdles through which a student under go to get admission in medical school.the writer tells how he failed 2 times and again he prepared for exam with more determination and then finally got the required numbers but he was not done yet he had to appear for enterance test as well.so after many hardwork he finally got the admission and then his new journey of study began which was even more tough than the before .as it realtes to my profession so i like it very much.

there are many companies in the market famous for the printer like dell,HP,samsung and cat etc.my favorite is HP as i bought my printer 3 years ago when i started a printing shop.i got it from hafeez centre in only 5 thousand rupees at that time.it has been working well with me for 3 years.i will recommend it because its easy to use and compatible with almost all types of computers.its printing quality including its colours are very good.moreover it has very compact and strong body.

i have not been through many foreign cities so far.but up untill now my favourite is dabai which is international city of UAE .it is famous for its skyscrapers and big shopping malls all over the world. also there are many beach resorts which depict nature and the artificial decor at the same time.last year , i got the chance to visit Dubai with family just for recreation.i enjoyed alot there specially i loved the ferrari world and palm jumera resort. i also did sky and deep sea diving and that experience was awsome .i highly recommend my friends for this adventour.

as for as my favourite resturaunt is concerned, there are many in the lists.but the one i visited the most is BISTRO 201.this is located on prime location of mall road facing canal.i like it the most as it is roof top resturant and has sitting arrangements both in open air as well as indoor.last week i went there with my wife and we planned for this only becuase of weather as the weather that day was awsome with cool breeze.so we prefered sitting in open air and ordered chinese food . the food was yumlicious with beautiful presentation.their environment was ambient and adding to this their service was speedy.

i remember, it was 5th of january 2005 when i was given a newspaper named DAWN by my father. the main purpose of that was to improve my vocabulary and sentence structure .since then, i have been reading this newspaper and ofcourse, this is my favorite newspaper. this not only improved my vocabulary and sentence structure but i am also uptodate in the fields of politics ,sports and entertainment. furthermore they have very authentic news .
