Early educational skills help children achieving success later on in their academic career. Several researches have shown that early literacy skills have profound impact on child’s personal development.
Early reading habits are learned prior to child entering formal education.Parents, the first teachers, play a pivotal role in their child’s overall readiness for school. Reading skills provide them confidence while ensuring their success.
It also forms individual personal character and allows to start advanced learning of other skills. Moreover, it trains brain and forces neurons to work. So it is the guarantee that child will be able to complete his work on time.
In addition to this, many believe that early success sets a positive life-course trajectory, leading to good academic and psycho-social outcomes, whereas hampered reading skills lead to less desirable outcomes. The statistics also shows that students that struggle to read will struggle in all subject areas. Furthermore, They often have problem in mathematics.
